Swedish leading dance company Cullbergbaletten will perform at The Nobel Banquet in Stockholm City Hall on The Nobel Day, 10 December. The laureates, the royal family, and other invited guests attend the banquet that is broadcasted to an audience of one million in Sweden. Cullbergbaletten will perform together with Musica Vitae, Malin Broman and Lisa Långbacka, a new piece, a choreography by Norwegian choreographer Ludvig Daae, with music by Lisa Långbacka and Antonio Vivaldi.
The Mental States of Sweden in Dance, the third part in Swedish director Mattias Andersson's documentary research project, has during the autum been created and presented at Elverket, Dramaten. In the end of November the performance will be at Stora Teatern, Gothenburg and in February next year at Vara Konserthus.
Cullbergbaletten continually focuses on the next generation of dancers by each year offering three apprenticeship positions within the company. The 2018/2019 apprenticeship programme is now open for applications. Welcome!
